The H+K team in Dubai continues to work on all projects across the AFC Asian Cup 2019 and a key phase was the 150-day countdown – which took place in August – to the 24-nation football tournament in the United Arab Emirates. As the biggest ever sporting event that the UAE has hosted, the team are focusing on ticket sales for the 51-game competition which will see up to a million tickets sold, as well as community engagement projects across the country.

Just the Ticket

Tickets were launched earlier this summer and the team created the biggest ever football ticket to highlight the sheer size of the football tournament. The photo launch took place in the impressive Zayed Sports City stadium, Abu Dhabi, with Tournament Director his Excellency Aref Al Awani joined by youngsters from footballing community projects

 A Home Win

The team has been working on several community campaigns with the ‘Home Team’ – a group of interns from across Asia – working with the Local Organizing Committee. Tasked with Bringing Asia Together, they have been reaching out to many of the local communities such as Koreans and Indians, with many residing in the UAE.
