Congratulations are in order! We are proud to announce that Erin Gentry, our U.S. President, has been inducted into PRWeek’s Hall of Femme. She is a great mentor and leader at Hill+Knowlton Strategies.

While accepting her honor, she talked about the value of supporting younger generations to be better than the previous ones in the workplace. She is a champion of women, committed to raise cycles that are data-, performance-, and equality-driven. She has made a point, alongside the U.S. CEO, of putting new rigor behind Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ compensation cycle that rewards top performers regardless of age or gender, and intentionally addresses outstanding inequities (this commitment is echoed by H+K’s global leadership). She likes that H+K is an entrepreneurial organization that embraces innovation.

In addition to serving as our U.S. President, she is also the Global-Co Lead of Client Services. Erin leads the client service function in the Americas, focusing her time on Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ largest clients across the region. Erin is responsible for working collaboratively with H+K’s senior leadership to guide and support global client leaders and ensure stability and vibrancy among its most important client relationships throughout the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. She is energized to be in her role with Hill+Knowlton Strategies at a time when stagnancy, mediocrity, and complacency are not accepted.

Erin grew up wanting to be in a “helping profession” so she is extremely passionate about working personally with her clients to bring them her expertise in crisis communications, reputation management, message development, media relations and campaign leadership. Her experience over the last decade with Public Strategies and Hill+Knowlton Strategies spans Fortune 500 clients across multiple sectors, including QSR, retail, investment banking, healthcare, and energy.

PRWeek’s Hall of Femme Awards 2018 honors leaders in the communications industry who challenge the status quo, move the needle in business, and strive to make a difference – Erin Gentry definitely does.
