Emely St John Mandel invites you into a universe revolving around memory, survival and the compelling necessity of interpersonal relationships, in her novel «Station Eleven». The story takes place before, during and after a pandemic, where those who survive must rediscover beauty in a new world. Freakishly recognizable perhaps, but also an important reminder that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, regardless of how shitty the road is to get there. Worth a look at ark.no.
